Found Paper Guest Book

Each Found-Paper Guest Book is a one-of-a-kind tome, conceived at the Center for Book Arts in Manhattan while I was perusing their recycling bins and are completely hand bound in Brooklyn, NY. I use the finest and greenest materials in the creation of each unique book. Recycled binder's board is hand cut to size and used for the covers, Irish linen thread is waxed and sewn by hand onto handmade linen sewing tapes for structural support and the cover material is a paper-backed pale gray linen cloth with distinctive pastedowns (inside cover sheets).

This Exposed-Spine Binding technique features a color way of cool blues, an array of warm naturals and a pop of burnt orange with a variety of paper textures and weights from across the globe. Finished dimensions are 6 x 5 x 1 ¾” (closed) with 200 pages.
